Are you an absolute trail nut, who loves a good adventure?

Or maybe you are looking to make the switch from road to trail? New to running or coming back from an injury?

Great!  We have a clinic for that!

Our clinics are open to all paces and abilities from those that prefer slow and steady with lots of photo/snack breaks, to the gazelles that don’t want to spend too much time waiting around. We offer an easy, moderate and fast pace group with an experienced trail leader to suit your speed needs. Our friendly trail leaders will guide you through your long run days on beautiful scenic mostly single-track trails in a variety of areas in Vernon. 

All three of our clinics not only focus on training and knowledge but a fun, safe, positive atmosphere to meet like minded runners.

Always wanted to run? Or run in the trails? Don’t know where to start? Never ran before, or coming back from an injury? Then this is the place for you! THIS IS A TRUE LEARN TO RUN CLINIC

Our Learn to Run program will teach you all you need to know about running in all kinds of weather, nutrition, injury prevention, pacing, cover trail and wildlife safety, trail etiquette, and much more. We will run together 1 day and week, at each class we will start with a 20-30 minute talk about that weeks training focus practice the form, pre-run glute exercises then go put for our run. Some weeks we will have a guest instructor that will lead you through run specific exercise before we start our run. We help you learn to run in a positive, fun environment on different trails each week.

Learn To Run

Trail Running Clinic
Wednesday 6pm / Saturday at 7:30 am
SPRING 2022- March 29th- May 31st

In this clinic we focus not only Endurance you're coaches will be heavily focusing on different form and techniques for, speed, hill work, tempo, Terrain and descent running.  

We will work on the importance of core and strength training, cover trail and wildlife safety, and respecting our forests and trail etiquette.

Your long runs will be on mostly single-track trails and will top out at depending on which distance you are training for

15 km- 2– 3 hours by end of the clinic / 25km- 3-4 by end of clinic / 50km- 4-5:30 hours by end of clinic.

 This clinic will help prepare you for feeling confident and safe with your trail running abilities in multiple distance events or simply running with confidence for fun!

 

You don’t need to be fast to join this group. We have 3-4 pace groups within each distance group that you are training for no one is ever left behind!!!

Trail Running Clinic, Race Focused
Wednesday 6pm / Saturdays at 7:30am
SPRING 2022- March 29th- May 31st

The Focus of this clinic will be for those who want to race the 2022 season

In this clinic our focus will be on training for your goal event.

You will not only work on increasing your endurance, you will learn about race specific fuelling, hydration and program set up.

Your coaches will be heavily focusing on different form and techniques for, speed, hill work, tempo, Terrain and descent running.  We will be also doing video analysis to help you self-assess, make adjustments to aid in your race training.

  • 2 runs a week plus 2 days of scheduled homework

We will help get you headed in the write direction in training for you choose seasons goals.

Your long runs will be on mostly single-track trails and will top out at depending on which distance you are training for

15km- 2– 3 hours by end of the clinic / 25km- 3-3:45 by end of clinic / 50km- 4-5 hours by end of clinic.

You don’t need to be fast to join this group, you just need to be focused on an event or events of your choosing.

We have 3 different distance and 3 different pace group of focus for you to choose from, 15km, 25km, or 50km distances.

 No one is ever left behind!!!
