Grand Poobah Race Series!!


What is the Grand Poobah race series you ask? At Bush Babes & Bro's Trail Running we have 4 exciting races in our series. All you have to do is sign up and race 3 out of the 4 and receive your plaid jacket with our amazing race series logo on it!!!!

What are the 4?

Slay The Dragon, is the first of our 4. Located on beautiful Silver Star Mountain not far from the heart of Vernon.

In this event you have 3 distances to choose from, a 13km, 25km, and 50km mostly single track trail race. All 3 distances challenge you to climb up to the top of the mountain for some stunning views of Silver Star Mountain Resort and the 3 lakes in our Okanagan Valley.

Soup to Nutz is the 2nd race in our series which also takes place at Silver Star Mountain Resort!

This event is a duathlon consisting of a mountain bike, trail running race that you can choose to do solo or as a team. In this event not only will you get to experience the cross country and downhill trails of Silver Star Bike Park, you will also be taking into the trails of Sovereign Lake Nordic Center!

From the Nordic Center you will run the the fun challenging mountain bike trails cruising onto the trail this race is named after SOUP 2 NUTZ

Freaky Creeky 50 is the 3rd race in our series, taking place in The City Coldstream's beautiful Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park.

This event has a whooping 4 distances to choose from, 10km, 27km, 50km, or 100km (ish) mostly single track trail race. The Freaky Creeky is a great race to dip your feet into the ultra distance category or challenge yourself with some epic climbs and stunning views of Kalamalka Lake.

Last but definitely not least is an amazingly fun event The Kal Park Aqua Terra!

This event is a super fun Standup Paddle, Mountain bike, Trail running event that was the original brain child the Amazing owner of Kalavida Surf Shop, Kevin Obrien.

You can participate in the event solo or as a team, with a short course or long course to choose from.

All the Bush Babes & Bro's Trail Running Events are geared towards all levels of fitness. From challenging and competitive for the more experienced, too fun and flowly for those who are just out for a good time. Our races are kept as green friendly as possible thus we are a cupless race and use compostable cups, plates, utensils and straws.

All maps with course distances and elevation are on our website keeping in mind, though we do try to be accurate with our distance and elevation all distances are (ish) and may be subject to change due to trail closures or weather conditions.
